Wills

We can assist you to prepare a Will to ensure that your wishes are legally documented to ensure certainty for the future. The lack of a Will can cause upset and could result in your estate being passed to someone who you had not intended. We can advise you on appointing Executors and making specific gifts as you prefer, and discuss any potential inheritance tax issues that you may need to know about.

Included within the prices stated on our website is free safe storage of the original Will (in our locked fire proof safe). We also retain an electronic copy of the original Will for future reference.

 

Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA)

We can help you apply and register both types of Power of Attorney (Financial and Health and Care decisions) and offer fixed prices. These can make dealing with day to day matters easier for family members, who look after aging relatives. They can also allow family members to have input into medical discussions and decisions when you may not be able to do so.
Again, Included within the price is free safe storage of the LPA (in our locked fire proof safe) until it is required. We also retain an electronic copy for ease of future reference.

 

Probate

After a loved one has passed it can be daunting to apply for Probate and administer an estate. We offer fixed pricing to obtain a Grant of Probate. The Grant gives the Executors authority to deal with the estate and will often be required by banks and building societies, as well as where property needs to be transferred or sold. We can assist Executors to administer an estate and are happy to discuss likely fees at the outset for you peace of mind.
